     I wake up to the sun this morning after sleeping 11 hours. At the meeting with my doctor yesterday we agree on a plan to do cancer surveillance with the urologist for the next 6 months. There is no risk free perfect plan. I learn the difference between sickness and fatigue.  I am not sick. My body is healing and is fatigued. Now to work on becoming strong again.

     I used a walker to go to the medical appointment for the first time. My knee is sore and unstable. It is humbling to use the walker in public.

     The pink ladies lilies are blooming around the neighborhood. They are impossible to eradicate.  In older neighborhoods they show up around the edges saying, don’t forget me.  I am heartened each year in August when they suddenly appear.

     In the evening instead of news, we watch the last episode of THE LAST DETECTIVE on Britbox.  I love these characters. 4 seasons and now it is over.
