Friday, April 18, 2025 

     My friend arrives at 10am and I am still in my bedroom.  I thought he was coming at 11am. We settle into a long conversation about our lives and of course politics. He is 80 now so of course we have a lot to say about health and doctors. I wonder why he came so early, I wasn’t ready.

     When I finally open my paper calendar, I see he is listed for 10.  Time for me to apologize. I wonder who I am expecting this week at 11, I was so sure 11 is the right time.

     Finally, the last episode of LUDWIG on Acorn TV has arrived. My favorite show. Full of humor and surprises. I watch it after the news.

      I am still engrossed with EXIT WOUNDS, A story of Love, Loss and Occasional Wars. Stories, reflections, good writing, my kind of book.
