     I am asked if I drink enough water. Are there medical tests to indicate dehydration?  UMMM well no, they respond. 8 to 10 glasses of water a day are needed, I am told.  Is this based on studies or is it common sense opinion? A urologist commented in her memoir she was tired of seeing kidneys flooded with water. This is just one question that floats in my mind.

     I am grieving the results of the election wondering what is going to happen next. I feel stuck in my life.  I become hyper critical about things I don’t understand.

     In the evening, I watch an episode of MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN and then I go back to an old favorite, NORTHERN EXPOSURE.

     In a phone conversation I say how much I love my Monterey library.  She asks, what are you talking about?  None of her friends ever go to the library. I tell her all my friends are frequent library users.  We are ready to argue about the value of libraries. I suspect this is election grief.
