     Time for a soft cuddly creature to join the serious animals sitting on the living room table. A small blue chicken.   Why a chicken, I don’t know. Time to be all together. The chicken arrives on Wednesday. Amazon shows me hundreds of possible toy chickens and I choose the one that talks to me.

     My oncologist tells me on the phone that the difficulties in treatment on Monday won’t happen again. I remind him that my experience and voice in treatment matter.  He agrees. We are back to a workable relationship. I trust him and I trust myself.

     Start watching a new series, THE ENGLISH TEACHER.  First episode was fresh and interesting.  I continue reading GUIDE ME HOME by Attica Locke.

     Finally, I am able to go to lunch with three delightful friends. We talk and laugh, and eat wonderful fresh food. I never want to miss a lunch with them again.
