      The meals on wheels volunteer brings in my daily bag of food and the two newspapers from the driveway.  My laughing friend calls and offers to pick up special Whole Food cookies for me. Later I will take out the garbage and pick up my mail.  Yes, I can do this.   

     I recently read about frailty in old people, a fearful condition.  I check the signs, nope I don’t have them all yet. I slept well last night. A friend asks me how I know so much and I answer, facebook, I am a dedicated reader of facebook and THE WELL. My curiosity is alive and well.

     Cold morning, heater is on to take off the chill. The heater goes on and off because I set it at such a low level. I start looking on line for warmer clothes and then remember to check my closet.  Lots of warm clothes in that closet bought over the years.  But still, I keep looking. It is thrilling to buy new clothes.

     I start reading a novel by Catherine Newman, SANDWICH.  The book is recommended by some of my favorite authors. I like it but I am not sure why.  Last night I watch LINCOLN LAWYER on netflix, and SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE on Max.
