I am now known to the California tax people by three names, only one of which is correct, whilder, wililden and the correct one Whilden. It is so frustrating to try to communicate with the AI tax robot handling the mail.
And of course, for the last four years, my medications come with the name Kathlene (the correct name is Kathleen). But my birthdate is correct. Should I be worried about this or let my family take care of it when I am gone.
The infusion center is unwilling to cancel the next three treatment appointments. I call and explain the changed plan. They don’t believe me. I am now afraid that the chemo police will show up at my door and drag me to the November appointment. I will try one more time to get the appointment cancelled. Maybe I should not have such an active imagination.
I start watching a series on Hulu, MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN. I started reading the new novel by my favorite author Louise Erdrich, THE MIGHTY RED.
