     Several friends visit during the day. Received a box of Swiss chocolate and a loaf of Ad Astra sliced bread. Picked up three days of mail from the mail box, campaign fliers, grocery store ads and this week’s New yorker. My ballot has already been mailed, no need to read the postcards. More texts from my sister in Ireland and my brother in India.

     Perfect fall days, cool morning and warm afternoon. Of course it can’t last. I bought Halloween candy to give out, candy that I like in case no one comes.

     Started watching new series on apple plus, DARK MATTER, a sci fi series. First episode was good. The tv election news is boring now that I have voted. The polls are misleading.

     I slept so well last night.  Trying to remember what I did during the day that helped me sleep. Spent time outside doing my chair exercises, short walks and a nap.
