We are at the oncologist’s office for two and a half hours, mostly waiting our turn. We talk about just leaving since he is caught up with another patient’s emergency. When he enters, he apologizes profusely.  The building is dark and closed.

We stay and learn from the pathology report, all the cancer had been removed with the surgery. My daughter will not have to have more treatment. A huge weight of dread has been lifted. Now she has to work on recovering from the surgery. Of course this could change.

We drive home and decide to splurge with popcorn for dinner. We are too tired to do much except go to bed.

I am still reading the Saudi Arabia book KINGDOM STRANGERS.
