I am spending hours thinking and writing about a short talk to give this Friday at Brown Bag Zen.  I am full of words, full of ideas. We are asked to talk about a current dilemma or interest. The listeners agree to not give opinions or advice. So simple and so hard.

On the netflix series EMERGENCY NYC I watched a real surgeon remove a real kidney from a patient in a surgery room with a medical team. For the first time I had the image of how my kidney was removed and what the kidney looked like. So much of my medical life is abstract.  I yearn to see and know what is happening to me.

The stack of library books to be returned, has grown, most of the books I open for a short time and then close.

Lunch with friends Tuesday. Before I sit in my car at Lake El Estero watching the swan paddle boats move through the waters. In the parking lot are two old yellow school buses from Soledad School district.  The park is filled with kids. Easter week.
