The old maga man will be arrested today and I plan to watch it all on my TV screen tonight. I have no apologies for my excitement in watching his downfall if it happens. I hope in the end that this judicial time will be boring for all. Being boring is our biggest weapon for preserving our democracy.

Met with my OLLI partner at Sweet Elenas on Monday.  Too cold and windy to sit outside. I am losing my fear of indoor rooms and taking off my mask.  My nurse friend says he no longer has to wear a mask at work in the hospital. I am looking forward to actually seeing the doctors’ faces.. And to be seen. My disorientation in the medical world is fueled by the damn masks.

Started reading FROM WHISPERS TO SHOUTS, THE WAYS WE TALK ABOUT CANCER by Elaine Schattner. Very scholarly and slow to absorb.  Not sure it will be helpful to me.

Started watching a new Netflix documentary series called EMERGENCY NYC. I love it.
