Just waiting for my ballot.  Conventions are over and I am ready to vote.  I have a plan. I will mail my ballot early to avoid any problem with the post office. I am ready for the change of leadership.

Started reading THE STONE DIARIES by Carol Shields.  I read it when it first came out decades ago and loved it.  Now it still is interesting.  I have a stack of partially read books that I will get back to.

Birds flit around the bottle bush trees.  Small birds make me happy.

Time to get my ash covered car washed. Still there is smoke hidden in the morning fog.
