Driving on Hawthorne street I see two blooming mimosa trees
on a side street.
The plane with my daughter couldn’t land at the Monterey
Airport Thursday night. Too much fog and smoke. They were diverted to San Jose
and she arrived by car much later.
Roxane and I are both sad to not see our Plein Air writing
class listed in the OLLI catalogue for the first time in ten years. Maybe next
year.
The latest by monthly Poets and Writers magazine arrived
this week. I am saving it to read when I am feeling discouraged.
