My daughter and I sit around and talk, read books, watch TV during
this visit. We got the car washed and
she went shopping for food. She is
opening some of my ignored packages and looking for ways to help me. Just being
here is enlivening for me. She leaves for New York on Tuesday to start her mandatory
quarantine time.
We fiddled with my TV to get HBO Max set up. In the end we realized it was already in the
set but I hadn’t known how to access it.
I move slowly in the house, no place to go to in this
pandemic wild fire time. All the government messaging is for old people to move
slowly.
The geraniums on the deck are still blooming in pink and red
colors.
