Yesterday was too quiet. Read, paced around the house,
watered the front yard and read some more.
I picked up a free book at the little library outside of
Carmel’s main Library. WE WERE THE LUCKY ONES, a novel by Georgia Hunter. A holocaust novel. I have read 50 pages and
still I am not sure if I will continue.
I picked a small bouquet of dead flowers. I want to see the seeds. I put them in a dry vase by my kitchen window. My glorious geraniums are now going to seed.
We watched the Casketeers, a New Zealand reality series
about a funeral home. Slow, thoughtful,
funny. My visiting friend left this morning.
