Noreen gave me a envelop with French coins for a family trip to France.  It was later that she realized they were francs not euros.

The tree people came with huge equipment and cleared more of the  sad oak tree limbs to protect the PG&E wires. Grinding sounds of wood chip grader fill the house.

A friend and I try to remember what was said two weeks ago. We go back and forth but the memory is locked in some inaccessible part of my brain.

New best seller book.  WOMEN IN THE LAKE,  mystery story by Laura Lippman.

I was reluctant but it is a good fast read.
