On this warm evening, windows and doors open, trying to feel
a breeze. Dogs barking from all
sides. Are there unseen people outside.
First thought, no fog this morning. Then I notice, sunshine, birds, and distant
sirens and car sounds.
The NYT has an enticing review of a new book. OUT OF
DARKNESS, SHINNING LIGHT by Petina Gappah.
A story of moving David Livingstone’s body from the interior of Africa
to Zanzibar. Sounds like a book I could
get into.
