I am rereading AMERICAN FICTIONARY by the Croatian writer
Dubravka. A collection of essays. First
published in 1994. I checked google to
learn more about her. Yes, it is even better this time around.
My geraniums are covered with bright colorful flowers. I was congratulating myself for being such a
good gardener. And then driving around town I saw splashes of colors scattered
in gardens, empty lots, on walls, near sidewalks, behind houses. Everywhere. Geraniums everywhere.
