Horse chestnut trees are blooming with their cluster of white blossoms hanging out. Yellow Mustard and radish plants mixed with poison oak and thorny wild berries crowd the road. Lots of traffic on a drive to Carmel Valley.

I picked up DESERT CABEL, a new season in the wilderness, by Amy Irving.  A short small book of essays about the Utah deserts.

We sat around the picnic table in warm jackets talking and listening to the chickens in the back yard.  Barbeque burgers and dogs for Memorial day. Felt like midwinter. Warm talk flowed back and forth.

Am in the middle of watching THE GOOD FIGHT on CBS all access TV. I watch several episodes a day and keep wanting to watch more.
