After a morning of rain and cold the sun comes in the front window to warm my legs. Outside, moths are hovering near the old oak tree.  The ground dries quickly and more clouds drift over my house.

I spent the day at home yesterday, only venturing out on my front steps to eat my afternoon popcorn and watch the birds.  The rest of the day was inside, reading a thriller, THE OLD MAN, by Thomas Perry.

I received a computerized call announcing that my new dryer would arrive Tuesday morning between 9:30 and 1. They mispronounced my name and my address.  I am hopeful.
