Listening to the music of SWEET HONEY AND THE ROCK on Pandora this morning as I do my exercises.

Sitting in the dark cold living room waiting for the dryer.  

Two strong men in a truck deliver the new dryer and plug it in.  It works.  I have done two loads of sheets.  I am resisting taking them out of the dryer. Tomorrow maybe I will fold them. I remember now I don’t like doing laundry although I do like clean clothes.

 A new book from the library.  HOW A POEM MOVES, a field guide for reader of poetry, by Adam Sol. I am ever hopeful that I can break through my resistance to reading poetry.
