Heater on again this morning after days of rain and storm.  Time to check the basement for leaks and water.

Went to the Osio to see AMAZING GRACE, a documentary about Aretha Franklin concert. The music moved me.  Then I check Wikipedia about her life and am overwhelmed with sadness.

Sirens in the distance at dawn. The sky is becoming light.  I am getting ready to go to McGowan house for morning zazen.

I continue to struggle with reading mystery stories.  I pick one up and then put it down in disgust.
