Driving towards Monterey near the high dunes I see a sky diver floating over the beach.  Blue sails in the grey sky.

I took two grocery bags of books to the Mariana library book store.  The first step.  I bought two books at their store.  I have another two bags ready to go.

Watched the second episode of Gentleman Jack at lunch time with my mystery Whole Foods soup and toasted French bread.

I start reading IRON LAKE, a Minnesota mystery story by William Kent Krueger. Snow, ice and wind.  By the time I go to bed I need an extra blanket to stop the shivering.
