The rat invasion is gone but today,  now the season for the ants in the house starts.

I am reading Dave Eggers new book THE PARADE.  I like his books but this one has not yet grabbed me.

I wrapped my right hand in gauze after scrapping it on a metal piece by the car’s gas cap.  Fragile skin and lots of blood.  I opened an old emergency response kit from 15 years ago. Now I am wounded and feeling sorry for myself.

Sitting on the front steps in the late afternoon with my hot buttered salted popcorn.  Overcast sky, warm, birds and then gnats begin buzzing my head.  Back to my living room chair.
