Re wrapped my hand wound.  It is at the ugly stage now. Swaddle in a cheese cloth  wrap makes it look OK.  Maybe even elegant.

I was unloading groceries from my car and talking to a neighbor.  She asked me if I have a grey cat.  No, I said, no cat.  Well she said one just walked into your house.  I am leaving the doors open hoping it will sneak out.  Neighborhood cats play and sleep in my dog free yard.

I heard the blast while reading in my room.  Huge blast but no sound waves. I stopped reading to listen for sirens.  I looked out the dark windows.  Nothing.  I checked next door website. Nothing.  Finally, in the distance I heard sirens but none came close to me. Sigh.

A visiting friend recommended the Murderbot Diaries books by Martha Wells.  She is a nebula Award winner. The library did not have the first of the four books so I ordered from Amazon ALL SYSTEMS RED, the first of the murderbot books by Martha Wells.  Last night I started this short book.
