Seven rats I caught in the last several weeks with my blue plate special.   This morning the food was still on the blue plate and the trap was empty.  Another couple of days before I can end the hunt.

In the late afternoon, I am sitting at home eating fresh buttered popcorn, my vegetable  for the day and reading the latest volume of C.J. Sansom about 16th century England.  I have read most of his long, long books and still I am reading another.  Perfect for a rainy day.
