Listening to Sweet Honey and the Rock pandora radio station
as I write thank you notes and enter information on my computer. Sun is out.
I feel more alive this morning.
A neighbor emails with concerns about prowlers around her
house this week. She has notified the
police. I will keep a watch out. My
other neighbor’s middle aged son is busy taking apart an old car and spread the
pieces over the front yard. He has a
motorcycle he rides. Two neighbors are in the midst of construction on their
property. And yet the sun is back out and all is well. That was yesterday, today more rain.
I am getting into the book TOMBLAND by Sansom. 16th century England. Religious
and political turmoil. At first his writing felt stilted and then it all came
together and is exciting. Only 800
pages.
After fumbling around Netflix and Amazon prime looking for
the right show to watch, The Amazing Mrs. Maisel came up and I found it was
good enough.
