     From my living room chair I see the kitchen window. Sun light is starting to warm up the deck.  Wildly pink/red geraniums are ablaze outside. I can’t find the words that describes these marvelous colors.

     I am impatient to get better quicker. I am tired of being sick. I am back to slowly walking back and forth on my deck several times a day. I went to bed at 10pm just as the military bugle sounded their closing call. This morning, I woke to the 7am bugle call. I live in a military town.

     My fluffy support creatures are lined up on the table watching me. I can’t get away with any foolishness.

     Just about finished reading the novel, THE EMPEROR OF GLADNESS by Ocean Vuong. Such a powerful imaginative story. It is hard to see so much suffering and also so much joy. My reading skills are returning.
