I thought being off of chemo while I wait for the next surgery in mid July, I would feel better. Yes and no, I am still having some side effects, itchiness, body aches, sleep difficulties, fatigue, and bladder issues. The Physical Therapy is helpful but still I have a damaged body from the four years of cancer treatments. But I am alive and have wonderful family and friends around me.
The skilled handyman is here for two days of work at my home. I have a long list. The biggest part is to clear the yard of burnable stuff. Fire season is here. Then to do an evaluation of my house, those parts that I can’t see, the basement, the roof, replace the heater filter. And more. He is a reliable smart worker and has excellent tools.
In the evening, we watch two episodes of THE ART DETECTIVES on Acorn Channel. It is good enough to continue watching more episodes.
I am almost done with Stephen King’s new big book NEVER FLINCH. I can’t tell if I really like it. It is long, with too many characters and a bit chunky. But still I persist.
