     Foggy morning, I put on warm clothes, close the windows, and drink coffee and eat hot oatmeal.  Another day is here. Time to make a list of tasks I may or may not do.  I am not so reliable about household tasks except for garbage day, I am on it. I fear garbage and trash piling up in the house.

     Drive my daughter to the airport mid-morning for her flight to New Orleans.  Back home I receive a text, her flight is canceled due to airplane tire problem.  She will try again today.

     Fresh cherries arrive from the photo guy, ripe juicy cherries picked up from his favorite bay area store.  I like the memoir, THE MAN IN THE EMPTY BOAT by Mark Salzman.

     Late night I receive texts and pictures from my brother on a Viking river cruise on the Danube. He is having a good time and I am safely warm in my bed at home.
