     Just starting to see reports of the Musk firings of the government workers in our community. In our small town of Monterey we have the Defense language Institute and the Naval Post graduate School, both renowned institutions of learning for the military. I am holding my breath that these institutions are not destroyed. Monterey has always been a military town.

     I don’t have much to report on Monday’s chemo treatment. This is my 33rd bladder treatment and I know the drill.  Everyone is competent and kind. Of course, there is some glitches but nothing to complain about. Do not need my support chicken. I am grateful that treatment is still available for me.

     We watch the news again at night. So discouraging.  It feels like the Titanic is sinking again.  I am compelled to keep watching as our way of life changes. Who are these guys running our country? How did this happen?

     I am still reading DYING TO LIVE the Botswana detective story. My friendly personal librarian brings another stack of books to read.
