When the massive front door opens, the sounds of the chatter and flutter of seagulls fills the waiting room of the medical building. And slowly the electronic door closes and the room is quiet again. This waiting room is very quiet as we wait for our appointments and treatments.

So, I pass the Physical Therapy evaluation and now can have 8 more treatments starting in several weeks.  I am slowly getting stronger. We can continue to talk about the delights of grocery shopping and the search for the perfect cookie, as I move my body and he counts the numbers of movements.

I watch the last episode of ADOLESCENCE in the late afternoon. I think I will watch it again.

In the evening, I start reading the novel, THE SPINOZA PROBLEM by Irvin D. Yalom. I haven’t read enough yet to know if I will stick with it. I have loved his non fiction books.  This is the first of his fiction books for me.
