In the before times, keeping my home functioning was a minor activity. My focus was outside the home, in the larger world. But now I am a house keeper. Making beds, washing dishes, food prep, laundry, throwing out garbage and trash, taking afternoon naps, every day. Yes, every day. Now, I am afraid of chaos closing in on me. So the mornings are spent with house work. What a change from my younger life.
I have faithfully done the prescribed PT exercises for the last month. And my legs do feel stronger. Today is an appointment with the Physical Therapist. I am feeling pleased with this plan. I continue counting my steps on the iPhone, now averaging 2000 steps a day.
I continue reading PLAYGROUND and the characters are growing on me. I love the descriptions of the ocean, although I don’t always know what is going on.
A REMARKABLE PLACE TO DIE, The Acorn detective series set in New Zealand. There are 4 episodes 90 minutes long. I watch half an episode at a time. One overriding story and each episode has it’s own story. Very well done. This is one of the few shows I am actually watching all the episodes.
