     Some blue sky this morning after a night of rain.  I quickly check the weather report for the numbers. Less then an inch. I am disappointed, I wanted something more exciting. No flooding here, just happy birds and puddles.

     An old friend is trekking in the mountains in Nepal, and sends out fabulous pictures and reports. I am inspired and may do an outing to my favorite hardware store I haven’t visited in years. This is my mountain to climb. No pictures though.

     I pick up the latest Louise Penny book again, and this time I understand the story. The brain fog is clearing. I continue to read the dense interesting book on Dr. Oliver Sacks.

     I keep a pen and pad nearby for recommendations of TV shows and books.  My mind doesn’t always hold these names for me.  But it is difficult to read my hand writing or understand why this endorsement. Today I am starting a new list again.
