    Three colorful women sweep into the living room bringing flowers, chocolate cake and news from the world. They tell stories, smile, move around the house and then leave for their events of the evening. They are my charming daughter and her two lively visiting friends.

     My personal librarian and I watch a documentary about rock climbing in Greenland, ARCTIC ASCENT. Spectacular views of glaciers, ice, sky, mountains, rivers and dangerous rock climbing. We sit in the warm living room while the arctic team lives in the snow and ice.

     Saturday is cold and rainy, and mostly I stay inside the house. I take a short walk to the mail box and another short stroll on the deck to check out the weather.

     I end the day with another episode of NORTHERN EXPOSURE. It was a day to experience winter and to appreciate my heated home. Monday is the next attempt at chemo therapy.
