     She comes by after work.  I turn off the news and we talk together.  She lies on the old dog-eared couch under the warm comforter.  Over the years we all have taken turns on this couch under this comforter.  This is where I take my afternoon nap. 

     I feel strong and healthy all day, maybe a bit tired. I reflect on the times I had painful bladder spasms in the past and have come up with some possible ideas for a successful chemo session.  Thursday, I meet with the doctor to make the plans.

     I am reading two books now, OUR LADY OF THE NILE and THE LAST FIRE SEASON. Both are good.

     I never saw NORTHERN EXPOSURE when it came out in the 90’s.  I watch the first episode Tuesday night and am hooked.
