Last night I was alone at home and the house was quiet except for the one large remaining rodent (I hope).  Set up the trap in the hallway and this morning I found the body and disposed it. Sigh, I am still a bit shaky. Sigh

Spent the morning at San Carlos beach parking lot in my car watching the sea life.  Lots of flying pelicans passing through going north.  Soon I will get out of the car and take a walk. I have recovered from two surgeries and three hospital stays, and now am back to living with a sore knee, my original problem.  All that medical care for more serious issues and it is the knee that is bothersome.

Started watching the HBO documentary on Elizabeth Holmes, THE INVENTOR, OUT FOR BLOOD IN SILICON VALLEY. Will watch the second half today.  I am mesmerized by her life and her ability to convince people to believe in her stories.

Started another book even though I am in the middle of several others. LEAVING ISN’T THE HARDEST THING, essays by Lauren Hough.  I am on a roll with good books.
