I water the dry garden in the front yard yesterday morning, pulling the hose around, looking at each plant and watching the birds scrambled through the bushes.

My daughter finally found a rodent exclusion company to come and check out the house this week.  I would like to live without the night time sounds of creatures. I suspect everyone in my neighborhood has some sort of rodent problem.

My three middle aged kids all like to cook. Last night my daughter prepared a wonderful pasta meal.

I am caught in another Laura Lippman mystery.  This time THE LAST PLACE.
