Saturday used to be an important day, a day off work, a play date. I am not sure what it is now. Today we are going on a road trip to the last chance mercantile at the dump in Marina.
I have come out of the acute recovery time, and now I tear up easily. So many floating images in my mind that don’t want to settle down.
Finished reading two books, the Richard Powers book BEWILDERMENT. An outstanding lyrical book, the Dr. Wes Ely’s book EVERY DEEP DRAWN BREATH, an intense and scary book about medical care in the ICU. I recommend both.
Morning fog and sun in the afternoon, the regular weather report.
