Three weeks out from surgery and I am recovering, off of pain medication.  Can do most things in the house.  Sometimes I am restless to do more and sometimes I am glad to take a nap.  Am I being smart or lazy?

The visiting nurse asked me how many books I was reading now.  She noticed the stack piled up by my chair. I hesitated and then said four. She shook her head. I think it is more like six.

 We watched the first episode of HIGH ON THE HOG, last night, after the Rachel Maddow show. Another interesting series.

 I listened to the latest podcast of ON BEING. I had forgotten how much I like that show.
