Weekends are quiet for me.
I hesitate to drive around town near the shore. Our town is flooded with people coming to the
beaches to cool off.
Saturday, I write checks for my bills and drive the short
way to the drop box and then stop at the library to pick up a reserved book.
I turn on the news periodically during the day to see if I am
missing anything. I am not. I want to
know who in the government is infected with the virus.
Start reading Henning Mankell’s book THE SHADOW GIRLS. I sit outside watching for birds. I talk to myself. I make plans and then don’t do them.
