The list is long of things to do. The list doesn’t change much from week to
week. I just don’t do most of the tasks.
This morning I am writing out the familiar list.
Strange noises in the night air, multiple dogs barking,
sirens, voices, and sea lions barking.
It was the human voices that were surprising.
I am reading THE HONEY BUS by Meredith May. Several times I stopped but now I am back to
reading more. It is a memoir by a local
woman growing up in Carmel Valley. I am
distracted by trying to figure out the accuracy of her map of the area.
I am on anxious alert to see what will happen to our federal government as the leaders sicken with the virus. I have multiple thoughts and feelings about what should and will probably happen.
