When a friend is anxious, she makes a donation to a political candidate.  I work with anxiety by ordering books. Still there is a lot of anxiety.

Friday’s heat did me in.  I want to surrender but don’t know where to hang my white flag.  Is there anyone in charge?

I can’t tell yet if today will be hot or not.  I am obsessed with the blazing sun.

I am reading THE MOUNTAIN LION, a novel by Jean Stafford. It is slow going.
