I am waiting for the scrape on my
finger to heal. Each day I take off the bandage to air out the wound. Old skin is so fragile.
I eat from a pot of refried beans daily,
sometimes as tacos and sometimes with chips.
I have extra beans in the freezer.
I started reading a new author Andrea
Carter, an Irish mystery story writer but I find her use of language awkward
and unappealing. Maybe her later books are better.
Scott Turow’s new book arrived from the library. THE LAST TRIAL. Well written but not so interesting. I think it is me that is poorly written and dull.
