Thursday night debate had too many words, too many
preplanned rehearsed words. Several
times a real thought came out and we would sit up to listen. We turned it off at half time. Too many dead words.
The heat and September light brought back memories of my 90
day stay at Tassajara 28 years ago. I reminisced
at Brown Bag Zen on Friday about these memories.
I hope the weather people are right and a cooling breeze is
on its way.
Today I am going to take several bags of books to the Friends
of Marina Library book store in Marina.
I will only buy 3 books out of the hundreds that will attract my eyes.
I was inspired last night to write an essay, the words were
bubbling up. Instead I was distracted by
facebook until the inspiration turned to dust.
