I sit in my too warm room reading a new book. A tiny gnat buzzes around my face, checking out my eyes and nose.  I try to catch him, feeling ridiculous when I miss.

Full moon Thursday night, full hot moon.

Heat advisory continues for another day. Need to water potted plants this morning.

I am reading WE THE ANIMALS, a novel by Justine Torres. Short, intense, interesting.
