A crew of men in orange jump suits are cutting the tall grasses edging Skyline Forest Drive.

Thursday, I did not pick up the Coast weekly.  The cover was cars and I am tired of car week, I am tired of cars.  I can’t remember when I did not read the weekly newspaper, our only source of local news.

My car is dirty and I am embarrassed to take it to the car wash because the paint is peeling.

August craziness is in full swing. I know it will pass.
