Received two letters Monday.  PG&E is turning off my electricity one day next week for transformer repair.  The California tax board reports my tax returns were incomplete.  They think I left out some pages.  Well that could be, I am forgetful. Sigh.

My neighbors walk up and down on my street at dusk.  And another neighbor’s dog is barking.  I hear the murmurs of conversation as they pass my window in spite of the barking dog.

Removed spent flowers from the geranium plants on the deck.  So many dead flowers.  Waiting for the next bloom.

Finished reading UNDERLAND.  A great book.  Now in the middle of A PRIMER FOR FORGETTING, by Lewis Hyde, another wonderful book.
