My plan for Sunday was to take out the dry winkled clothes
from the dryer and fold them and put them back on the chair in my bedroom. Five
day old plan.
I ask friends if they use the local library. I try to be neutral. I think there is some underlying hidden
social class factor in who uses the library. I can’t afford to buy all the
books I want.
The sun comes out flooding the front yard and I start to
make sun plans and then the sunlight is gone.
Sigh.
WHY RELIGION, by Elaine Pagels. Recommended by friends on the Well. I read
her earlier books with great enthusiasm.
A memoir of her relationship to religion. Compelling reading.
