On Wednesday, we have strong gusty winds as the fog and heat fight it out.  Blew open outside door, knocked over potted plants on the deck.  I think the fog is winning.

The clay pot with the old pink geranium blew off the ledge and broke apart.

My friend, who keeps my house running, came by to change my heater filter.  He wasn’t feeling so well.  I gave him two cold bottles of Ensure.  I told him it would cure anything. He laughed for the first time.

I slept most of the day as I recovered from the heat. 

I started reading MOVING ON by Larry McMurtry.  I have several books, partially read, by my reading chair.
