I drove around the long blocks on cannery row several times looking for a parking place, trying to avoid hitting the people, strollers, kids looking at cellphones, families trailing each other, old slow walkers.   I gave up and went home. Didn’t go to the family brunch at crowded El Torito.

Haven’t read so much while my daughter visited over the weekend.  We talked, watched TV.  We spent a lot of time this morning commenting on various movies and series on Netflix. Thumbs up and thumbs down.  We agreed on some but have different acceptance of stupidity, violence and moral degenerate shows.
